Another Great Visit

My mom, dad, brother and his little boy came Thursday as a "Birthday Surprise" planned by my wonderful, thoughtful husband. They made their way through the tornado debre, rather than the tornado itself thank heavens. Friday we made a trip to Littleton for some light miniature golf, laser tag and foam ball fun. Saturday was spent at the park and birthday shopping with grandma. They departed early Sunday morning for their 11 hour drive home. As always the visit was enjoyed by all and didn't feel nearly long enough.

Soccer

It was unofficial, but soccer still the same. One of my friends decided that her plate wasn't full enough coaching for the junior high. So she decided to volunteer her time and coach two more groups, the 4-5 year olds and 6-7 year olds at no cost!! They did not have any official scrimmages but learned technique and played each other. I am fired though, I did not get any pictures of Abby. Half of the practices ended up at the Church in the gym because of rain, so I waited. I was suppose to have one more practice to get Abby, but we ended up in Salt Lake, so Ry was the only one captured on camera. They both loved it, and it was well worth Melissa's time, I hope!

While it was a long two weeks, all is well and everyone is home! Elleree was strong, and a fighter, as well as her mom and dad who never left her side. I sit here and think, I just don't know how you do it, handle a trial of this magnitude. But Desiree will tell you, you do what you have to do, you don't think about it, you just do it. Her stay at the hospital showed her how blessed she really is (we are), and there are those whose challenges and trials are even greater. While Elleree's situation was close, she was able to leave the hospital a beautiful healthy little girl with a chance for a normal life. Elleree had lots of prayers, love, and strength from family and friends through out her stay. They couldn't have done it without you, Thank you!! Dillon and Truman were troopers as well. Dillon turned five while all of this was going on. He and Truman were able to visit and celebrate with the bonus of a stay at a motel with a pool!
