She is smiling in the picture, but it had been three days since the tumble. She was riding her scooter and went DOWN! Aaron and I didn't see it because there was a truck parked in our view. All I can say is that the marks on her face are the only battle wounds she walked away with. Not a scratch on her hands, arms or legs. It was all face. I really thought she was going to have a black eye. Her two front top teeth were knocked really loose, and the dentist says they will fall out prematurely, but at least they are not her permanent teeth. The bottom hole is from a already existing loose tooth that was given a little nudge from the fall. So the verdict is in, Abby vs. Sidewalk...Sidewalk WINS!

Crazy Days
1 eighteen month, 3 two year olds, 2 five year olds, 2 seven year olds and me. Believe it or not it went well. Suiting up and sunscreen was a little crazy, but the pool time was a success.
Cousins
So it has come and gone already! It seems like forever before the date on the calendar comes and then BOOM, it is gone. My sister and her family were in town for four days. We had planned to go to the Denver Zoo Thursday, but when we got there, we found out they were closing early to prepare for and event that evening. Fortunately we were in Denver and there is plenty to keep busy. We ended up next door at the Science Museum. Probably the better choice anyway, no sunscreen required and air conditioning! Friday was Ry's birthday and she wanted to go to the water park. They settled for the pool at the rec center. Yeah we sound mean, but they have quit the setup. Lazy river, Big slide and a kiddie pool. Water World is quit expensive for the amount of activities my girls would have actually participated in, maybe in a few years. Besides, no sunscreen required, no traveling and they had fun. Poor Elleree was sick with a temp the whole trip. Des and I ended up taking her to the doctor Sunday. Turns out she had pneumonia. Can you believe it, they just can't catch a break! So the visit was a little stressful, but fun and we will be heading to Idaho in three weeks. Yeah!!

Growing up so fast!
Holy cow, I can not believe that I have a 7 year old!! I could not ask for a better, sweeter, happier, more helpful, or obedient child! Life is defiantly sweeter with her in it! She is modeling birthday clothes in the first picture. We both love the birthday clothes. Although grandmas and grandpas were not here, they both were able to go birthday shopping during there most recent visits. Her gifts included clothes, stuffed puppy, poke-a- dot luggage, Barbie movie, 7 dollars and a Digital Arts and Craft Studio. Thank you for all the gifts, she was loved and spoiled for sure. The biggest and best present was that her aunt and cousins were able to celebrate it with her. This is the first year of birthdays that we have not been surrounded by family, and it has been an adjustment.

Blessed
I have been blessed with not only the greatest husband, but also the best father to my children. I honestly could not ask for more. He is loving, helpful, compassionate, thoughtful, and patient(a trait needed to live with me.) It is my hope that my girls will end up with a man that is half what their dad is!

Old Friends
Friends from Idaho Falls were in the area visiting their family. We were able to get together for a day of fun in Colorado Springs. The girls and I had never been south of Denver, so the excitement was elevated due to the new adventure with old friends. I loved it. The red dessert rock formations were complimented by (my children of course) green trees and the rocky mountains in the background. We had a picnic and then let the kids go wild, climbing anything they could grip. We then joined in their tradition of getting ice cream at the visitors center. Afterwards we continued the reunion back at their families house,in Castlerock, where the girls played in the backyard, hanging, swinging and swimming! It was a great day, as always, we love visitors!!

Memorial Day Memories
So it rained or sprinkled most of the day! But we stayed strong and weathered through a trip to the Boulder Creek Festival. We did get a few comments on the girls "ride" It is sometimes hard to get Aaron out of the house, but I was determined that we were not going to sit around and do nothing! I had never been to Boulder, so it was a great reason. I have to say that I am not so impressed, and do not know what everyone is paying such high prices for. It is a combination of Jackson and Sun Valley, Tree hugging ritz. Except that it is not a well kept town, from what I saw anyway. They are defiantly all naturel,(no grooming?) Anyway there were lots little stands and overpriced rides. The kids only got to ride 2 each. I know we are soo mean, I don't know how they survive.
