Domestic Divas

I don't find myself of this side of the camera, kind of weird to post about myself! I have got a great ward, the ladies have always got something going on. This week one of the ladies offered to share her knowledge and expertize on making bagels. We made five different kinds of bagels, cinnamon and raisin, wheat, plain, garlic and basil and I made apple. It was a lot of fun, I think mostly because of the company. I don't know that I would do it by myself ever, but I now know how, just in case!!

Winter or Spring??

Hands down the weather is much milder than in Idaho!! We have had little to no snow, which from what I understand is not necessarily the norm, but the temperatures, WOW!! We have had a number of days since the first of January with temperatures of 60-65 degrees. Des tells me when they WARMING up to 35 or 40 degrees, I am spoiled, I complain of how cold it is when is hits the thirtys! These are pictures of a picnic at the park Tuesday and a day in the backyard Wednesday, I LOVE IT!! I say if there isn't going to be snow, let there be warm weather!!

Grandpa N Me

Grandpa Doyle was in town on business and pushed his flight home back a day so he could come see the kids. It was a short 24 hour visit so we didn't have much planned, but the girls took advantage of every minute. Friday morning started with Rylie reading to grandpa (no he is not asleep) followed by a mean game of UNO. We went to lunch and off to the airport he went. Not to many tears were shed due to the promise of his return with grandma in a few short weeks!

My Sweethearts

Two this year preparing for the valentines day exchange at school. It is crazy how fast time flies. Rylie had a class program filled with valentine songs and talents. I didn't get any real good pictures of that, but she looked and sounded great! The kids got the now traditional valentines socks and sucker on Valentines Day. They wore the socks from last year ALL year long. Who knew?!
