Braces Be Gone!

Rylie and Abby had their braces put on at the same time, roughly a year ago...Lucky for Abby, she is the first one to have them removed. She was actually scheduled to have them off three weeks ago but faced a dilemma. Go to friends birthday party and reschedule braces with next opening 3 weeks out or miss the birthday party and be free of braces. It took her a few minutes to deliberate but the final and unregretted decision was to make the party appearance.
Pre-braces
Just after they are put on
Just before they are removed

Sweet Little Valentines!!

Our annual valentine sock picture!!
I'm not so much that creative mom in the kitchen, but I thought I would give it a try. I put red food coloring in the chicken and rice.I am not sure I was successful in obtaining the "I love you" I was going for, more Happy Halloween I think?
For dessert we made chocolate covered cinnamon bears, YUMMY!

16 showings on my house in two weeks, SEVEN in the last three days!! Saturday we had to be out of the house from 11:30-6:00. (still no offers) Sooo we took the kids out for lunch and to the Children's Museum.

What a handsome little fireman!!
They loved the fireman pole, round and round they went.

The girls and dad would then spend the next 2.5 hours working on projects out of recycled garbage! The glasses didn't last long!
We ended up with a train, snowmobile and a bus.

Eli didn't last long at any one station. He loved the bubbles, but wouldn't wear the glasses. So that obviously didn't last long!)
Oh how we love the doggies!
I am a sucker for the shots from behind!

ROAD TRIP!!

So Aaron's sister packed up her three year old and 3 month old baby and jumped in the car with with his mother for a road trip that would have them gone for 9 days, and in charge of the kids!! Meanwhile Aaron and I boarded a plane at 1p.m Sunday morning and flew to Raleigh, North Carolina to find a house. It looks like fun was had by all!!
Eli was in HEAVEN with around the clock buddy! Brody is such a sweet easy go'n little guy. Two fit in the car?? (only if both are okay with it) I'm lov'n the coco roos on Eli's face, as if I hadn't even left!!

Look at that face!! What a MONTSTER!!

The kids are still talking about when grandma Pammy and Aunt Whitty came!! Thanks so much for watching my babies!!

Holiday 2011/2012

Started the holiday off with a little Christmas crafting. You can never have enough homemade ornaments!)

This is what it looked like the day before we made the lovely 8.5 hour drive home for Christmas. Lucky for us it only snowed here, so the drive was not so bad.
I don't think we had enough snow last year at one time to make snow angles!
Gotta love candy canes!
We got to my parents house and we started the Christmas treats, the only thing that trumps Christmas crafts!Traditional Christmas eve present: PJ's
He was soo fun to watch open presents! It didn't really matter what it was, he was just having a good time!

I wish I would have been in front of him for the picture. He had tricked my mom and oh boy did he think he was funny!!

We love and cherish every moment we have together!
Aarons family goes out for breakfast annually on New Years! So after breakfast we decided to go bowling. It was a lot of fun, the cousins really enjoy time together!
Eli with Uncle Justin (Aarons brother)

After bowling headed back out to Aarons parents house. Uncle Paul stopped at his house and brought their mini four wheeler. It was FREEZING, but the thrill of riding the four wheeler trumped being frozen.

Baby Baby Baby, oh how we love the babies!! This "poor" little one was not put down for more than two seconds!
Great Grandma insisted on sitting at the table with the kids! So cute how she loves them!
A perfect match! Both getting the attention they love!!
Precious baby blessing, so glad we were able to be there!!
