Nutcracker

A friend rallied a group of 20 so that we could get the
group discount for tickets to the Nutcracker.
It had been a couple years since we had last been, so I signed us up.
We met at Red Robin for lunch before the production.
(a Colorado tradition carried on)
It really is hard to top RR and friends

The girls really enjoyed this version.
It had a lot of magic, which was fun to watch
(and it meant not quite as much dancing)
Their favorite part was the truffles.
They were REALLY fun to watch,
it was like they were floating just above
the ground, or on wheels.
The girls drug their feet at first, they were not happy to
to be wearing dresses.  I hope that over all they had a good time,
they said as much anyway.  I guess only time will tell,
years from now as they look back and are retelling the story.

  Love you GIRLS!!!

It's an awesome tradition to have. I took the boys when they were little. I love the production up here but haven't been for quite a few years. Needless to say the boys didn't necessarily appreciate it as much as me! They will remember it for sure though!

Ahh that DOES look like it was fun! I went to the one in Seattle years ago that had the sets that Maurice Sendak did. It was pretty amazing. You all look like you had fun though. It's going to be a good memory I'm sure of it. Even if it's only for you :0)

wow, a table for 20 sounds like a jam packed evening!

You all look so happy in that last shot, someone must have liked it!

It's a great tradition! Dresses and all.

How FUN! That's awesome! Glad to hear you kept up the rr tradition! You girls look beautiful! Kyla and I went again this year and I ended up getting a speeding ticket on the way to RR! 160 bucks later we enjoyed shakes and fries! UGH :)
